The Past Three Days

Since a few days i haven't been regularly updating my blog. The main reason I don't have much to blog about and I am a bit busy with studying (yes I sometimes do that sort of things) for my exams which are trying to make sure I don't survive this year. On Wednesday I ate Al-Baik for dinner. It is a very special kind of broasted chicken unique to Jeddah, Makkah and Madina. The special thing about it is it is very tasty as a result it always has a lot of rush in the restaurant. They have got enough staff working to speed up the process but the traffic in the area is also very high which neutralizes their speed. We took our parcel in 15 minutes but returned home about half an hour later. I even took some pictures when I was eating.

The picture above shows a large/family pack which contains the whole chicken in eight pieces. They also sell a smaller pack with half a chicken in four pieces. You also get two buns and four garlic sauce packs. I couldn't take any pics while eating as the only thing you can think of while eating Al-Baik is eating more of it.

Then on Thursday and Friday I and my fasted as it was the ninth and tenth of Muharram, respectively. On thursday after Iftaar we went to Jeddah for a small party by our cousins. It was actually a birthday celebration of the son of another of my cousins.

And today was my maths practical exam. It was pretty easy. In my set of questions was a choice between proving that the area of a parallelogram is equal to base multiplied by height by paper cutting and pasting or I had to prove the mid-point theorem by a similar method. The mid-point theorem was common to all the sets of question papers (there were a total of for sets). I solved the one of area of a parallelogram. In the viva I gave all the three answers correct. I hope to get full marks in it.

Tomorrow is my science practical exam which includes physics, chemistry and biology. I have studied for it too but I will be revising for it in a short time.
